1. The Genesis story is written to tell us WHO made the world and WHY
2. Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
3. God made us to belong to Him
4. Romans 12:1 – Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.
5. God made us to reflect His character and love
6. Ephesians 5:1 – Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the
way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and
sacrifice to God.
7. When people look at you, do they see a reflection of God?
